James Montford

James earned his Graduate degree from Grand Canyon University and holds a Masters in Professional Counseling. James is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. James is an active member of American Counseling Association and holds a certificate with National Board for Certified Counselors as a Mental Health Facilitator.

James is also a Georgia provider for Georgia Addiction Counselors Association. James has a passion for marriage and family counseling, teens, young adult males and those that struggle with substance abuse and other addictions. James specializes in Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with couples and individuals dealing with addictions and interpersonal issues.

James is a Christian and a Pastor who believes in the power of God to heal, deliver and set people free from their struggles/strongholds.

AREAS OF FOCUS: Men’s Issues, Marriage and Family, Depression, Substance Abuse, Self-mutilating behavior, Sexual Addictions and Identity Issues, Eating disorders
